Since graduating from the Certificate Program and completing her Ph.D. at USC, Dr. Laney was recently promoted to the Dean of Nursing at St. John's River Community College in Florida to develop the RN to BSN program. Dr. Laney is moving to Florida from York Technical College.
Since graduating from the Graduate Certificate Program, Jenny Williams has entered the PhD program at USC. She will complete her coursework this summer and is looking forward to taking her comprehensive exams!

In addition to this accomplishment, Melissa was promoted to Assistant Vice President for Student Success at Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) and was awarded HGTC's Staff Employee of the Year in 2007-2008.

Becky McIntosh was promoted to Vice President for Student Development at Piedmont Technical College after having begun the Graduate Certificate Program as Associate Vice President.
Leon Peterkin was promoted to Dean of Student Services at Northeastern Technical College and is currently working on his dissertation to fulfill the requirements for a PhD from Capella University. "As a result of the GCP, I was inspired to continue my education."
